Theatre in the X is currently seeking artists of color for the following positions:
Position: Project Manager
Program: Staged Reading of scene from Piano Lesson by August Wilson and a community Block Party in collaboration with UPENN’s August Wilson & Beyond Class and the Paul Robeson House
Event date: October 1st, with planning beginning immediately
Pay: $2,000
Responsibilities include managing rental of equipment (stage, chairs, table, sound), coordinating vendor arrangements, coordinating food delivery, creating schedule for the day and run of show.

Position: Scenic Designer
Program: Production of Pac & Biggie are Dead by Biko Eisen Martin, directed by Carlo Campbell, in collaboration with Drexel University. A spin-off of Tom Stoppard's Classic, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead starring raps’ two biggest artists/martyrs. But instead of existentially romping through Shakespeare’s Hamlet, their purgatory extends through classic moments in hip hop, drama and black history. A vision quest through ghetto heaven to come to deeper true about themselves and each other.
Event Date: Shows November 10 - 19, with first design deadlines in early August
Pay: $1,000
